Amongst South Asia’s Contemporary Artists, Soraya Sikander, is one of today’s leading contemporary painters known for inventing the ‘Calligraphy Landscape’. Internationally recognised for her pioneering style, the artist has exhibited at galleries and museums in China, Singapore, Netherlands, UK, UAE, Pakistan and more. Trained from London Atelier of Representational Arts & University College London’s Slade Summer School, the artist is one of the few to have the distinction of being both, critically acclaimed, as well as a commercial success. Her recent exhibition includes the 8th International Beijing Biennale. Dubbed ‘Artist to Collect’. Soraya Sikander’s tonal landscapes are an interpretation of places seen from the mind’s eye.
