Shahid Jalal (born 1948) is a senior painter with paintings in the permanent collection of the National Gallery of Pakistan, the national Assembly, Prime Minister’s House, World Bank, Foreign Office and Pakistan House, Delhi as well as other prominent public and private organizations. The artist held his first major exhibition in October 1980. To date, the artist has exhibited in Washington, Sotheby’s London, Stockholm and Delhi Trinale. Shahid Jalal has participated in several solo and group shows across Pakistan and abroad.
Dua Abbas majored in Painting from The National College of Arts, Lahore and graduated with Distinction in 2009. Dua’s work is influenced by two decades of reading fiction and poetry and an inclination towards narrative storytelling. Dua has participated in several exhibitions in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Dubai and Delhi and is an active art reviewer for The Friday Times and ArtNow. Dua is a recipient of the Shakir Ali Award (NCA 2009), Sir Percy Brown Prize, and Principal’s Honours Award.
Abdul Hayee is a well known watercolourist. With a diploma in Fine Arts from Karachi School of Arts (1971) the artist paints cityscape and landscape on location particularly in dock areas, malir, west wharf, capturing the light and shade of the scenery. The artist has exhibited in numerous group and solo exhibitions. His work enjoys immense popularity.
